Bio
Hello! My name is Illahi, and I'm a Toronto-based actor, writer, and emerging director. I've always loved performing, but I decided to make it my career after playing The Witch in my grade 10 production of Into The Woods.Into The Woods. From there, I went on to study at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where I trained at the Meisner Studio.
This year I've been exploring writing and directing as an extension of my artistic practice. It's been equal parts terrifying and creatively expansive, pushing me to take greater ownership of my artistry and approach storytelling from a new perspective. I'm learning a lot, and finding my voice through it all.
When I'm not performing or writing, you'll find me reading, crocheting, eating good food, or going to the theatre.
